Eddie Hinton was an American songwriter and studio musician known for his work with soul and R&B singers. He played guitar with Muscle Shoals and released 8 albums, 4 of which were released posthumously. As a session guitarist, Hinton can be heard on records by Wilson Pickett, Arthur Conley, Aretha Franklin, Joe Tex, Solomon Burke, Percy Sledge, Paul Kelly, Johnny Taylor, The Box Tops and Otis Redding, among others.
