Description
Vincent Price stars in this British horror directed by Gordon Hessler. In Elizabethan England, Lord Edward Whitman (Price) is a magistrate intent on hunting and torturing women he believes to be witches. However, when he targets members of Oona (Elisabeth Bergner)'s coven, she summons a demonic spirit to exact revenge upon him.

The spirit possesses Roderick (Patrick Mower), a loyal servant to the Whitman family, and violence and murder ensue as Oona's vengeance is realised. The cast also includes Essy Persson, Hilary Dwyer and Hugh Griffith.
