Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Cormac McCarthy (No Country For Old Men) The Road is an epic tale of survival which follows a father and his young son as they journey across a barren America destroyed by a mysterious cataclysm. Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, of the internationally celebrated bands Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, The Dirty Three and Grinderman, created an evocative score here featuring violin and piano with beautiful fleeting melodies and eerie sound loops filled with terror and suspense.
